Tracy Pruitt joined Crown Crafts as a textile designer and became part of the Mohawk team after the Crown Crafts acquisition in 2000. Recognized for his innovative contributions, he was promoted to Vice President of Design for Mohawk Home in 2007.  Tracy is responsible for the design direction of Mohawk Home, identifying trends, emerging colors, new constructions, ensuring we are fashion leaders in home furnishings. He lives in Cartersville, GA with his wife Cindy and son Jacob.

Donna Sandy has enjoyed an extensive career designing fashion-forward products for the home, including bath/scatter rugs, towels, bath accessories, throws, and specialty knitting yarns. Currently employed by Mohawk Home, her fascination with home textiles has afforded travel opportunities throughout the world in search of fabulous new designs and constructions we can bring to market. Support has come from her husband and two teen children, as Donna’s career has encompassed many moves across this great land. She has a design degree in Textile Printing & Design, but has grown in this industry thanks to the generous encouragement of family, mentors, and gracious employers.

Jennifer has been in the floor covering industry since 2003. She started her career in Sales, moved to Product Management and Development of Printed & Imported rugs and rug pads, and now is the Director of e-Commerce for Mohawk Home. Her love for fashion and home design is a perfect fit for the exciting world of floor coverings where the patterns often mirror fashion trends that many wear each day. As a graduate from the University of Arizona, she focused on retailing trends and the consumer marketplace. She is formerly from Southern California, but now resides in North Georgia with her husband Kevin and their two wonderful kids.

Heather Hood joined Crown Crafts in 1995 as a textile designer and became part of the Mohawk team after the Crown Crafts acquisition in 2000. Heather has been a designer for over 16 years. Design and fashion have always played a very important role in her life. She enthusiastically breaks design rules while drawing from her limitless inspiration to blend the many styles, textures, and patterns to combine fashion colors to create attainable savvy rugs. Being on top of fashion and her fascination with the creative process and imagination have allowed Heather to help Mohawk become a fashion leader in home furnishings. Her job at Mohawk includes distinguishing trends, color direction, designing color palettes, and design direction. She lives in Calhoun, Georgia with her husband Jeff Hood and their three sons.

Beth Bryan is a DIY and design blogger who works in the commercial modular building industry to support her fervent decorating habit. She earned an Interior Design Merchandising degree in 1999 from a small liberal arts college in central Alabama. Cecilia Staniec
Interior Design

Cecilia Staniec, IDS, ASFD, is the owner and principal designer for A Darling Room (, a full-service design firm specializing in residential design, model home merchandising and home staging.

Cecilia is one of only three world-wide featured designers on My Perfect Color (, a blog dedicated to using color in design. As a designer for My Perfect Color, Cecilia is a contributing blog columnist and the sole color consultant.

Formerly a nationally featured designer for Kirkland’s, Inc., a home décor company based in Nashville, TN, Cecilia’s focus as a designer included promotional hosting, set design, product photo shoots, national design communications and television appearances. Cecilia also worked weekly as a blogger on the Kirkland’s website and in retail store appearances.

Cecilia resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her husband and three children. In addition to her volunteer work with the Junior League and the National Association of Professional Women, Cecilia has been the contributing designer on the board of the Wesley Spectrum benefit Tour of Homes. Cecilia has been featured in numerous media outlets, including WJHL, WPXI, WGRZ, Whirl magazine, Nashville House & Home & Garden magazine, STIR magazine, ShelterPop, Pittsburgh Tribune-Review & Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and was recently profiled as a designer in the Home Furnishings Business Magazine 2011 Design Look Book. In her free time, Cecilia is an avid reader, loves to travel, and enjoys cooking (southern-style, of course!) She is a self-admitted addict to design TV and enjoys an occasional scoop of Haagen-Dazs coffee ice cream!
